At 91ÌÒÉ« we want to mark the passing of members of our community with respect and care. To ensure we do this consistently and appropriately, we follow the framework below:

• Requests from families: When families contact us, we are glad to publish obituaries on our website.
• Exceptional tributes: In rare cases, 91ÌÒÉ« may write an obituary ourselves, with the support of the family. This would usually apply to former CEOs, Chairs, Olympians, or individuals who have made a significant contribution to 91ÌÒÉ« as an organisation (e.g. long-serving staff).
• 91ÌÒÉ« Medal of Honour recipients: When a Medal of Honour winner passes away, we will reach out to the family to offer condolences and the opportunity to publish a tribute when they feel ready.
• Annual commemoration: Obituaries are listed in the 91ÌÒÉ« Almanack.
