Sarah Langslow qualifies as World Rowing umpire

Eleven umpires from Great Britain have been selected to officiate at international events this season

Congratulations to Sarah Langslow, a member of Cambridge University BC and Cambridge â€ک99s RC, who qualified as a World Rowing umpire in Amsterdam last year. Sarah qualified as a 91جزة« umpire in 2017 and is Race Committee Chair of both the Pairs Head of the River and Molesey Regatta, and a member of the Boat Race Umpiring Panel.

Ahead of the international season, 11 Brits have also been selected to umpire at World or European Rowing events this year. 91جزة« is delighted that the following umpires have been chosen to represent GBR on the juries at these prestigious events:

Claire McIntosh – World Rowing Under 23 Championships in Duisburg, Germany 23-26 July

Adrian Championآ – European Rowing Championships in Varese, Italy from 30 July – 2 August

Richard Dennis – World Rowing Senior Championships in Amsterdam, Netherlands from 24-30 August

Sir Matthew Pinsent – European Rowing Under 23 Championships in Kruswica, Poland from 5-6 September

Judith Packerآ – World Rowing Masters Regatta in Bled, Slovenia from 9-13 September

Gary Bainآ – World Rowing Coastal Championships and World Rowing Beach Sprint Finals in Qingdao, China from 18-21 October
