A sprint finish wasn鈥檛 enough for Cameron Buchan and Natacha Searson to progress beyond the quarter final in the Coastal Mixed double sculls (CMix2x). They had a slow start against the Lithuanian crew who maintained a small lead throughout to pip the GB crew to the buzzer.

Isabel Soyinka was knocked out in the quarter final of the U19 Coastal Women鈥檚 Solo (CJW1x) in a close race which saw her finish a few seconds behind the Austrian sculler. The U19 Coastal Mixed double sculls (CJMix2x) crew of Olivia Hodgson and Thomas Biddle were also knocked out in the quarter finals.

Tom Pattichis, GB Rowing Team head coach for Beach Sprints said: 鈥淲e鈥檝e seen promising results and some good performances here as our coastal athletes continue to build their experience in this new Olympic racing format.
