Four wins for reshuffled squad

Peter Reed and Andy Hodge took victory in the men’s pair in 3:23.46 whilst the men’s eight,听 stroked by Alastair Heathcote, came home ahead of two Spanish crews in 2:57.57.

Colin Smith and Stephen Rowbotham, a hastily assembled combination, were third in the men’s double in a time of 3:24.98 behind winners Greece and Belgium in second.

A 500m sprint regatta is on the menu tomorrow at the Andalucian High Performance Centre.听 Tom Lucy will replace Toby Garbett and Cameron Nichol will swap with Marcus Bateman – both in the eight.
